Getting On Page One of Google, Bing, and Yahoo

for free...
2.  sign-up or sign-in if you have a google account.  Google owns Blogger or Blogspot
3.  If you are an Xzacta Shears Scissor Sharpening Tecnician you have an account as Blogspot is what I use for our private blogs
4.  If you are totally new to building a website or blog.... just jump right in... you can't hurt anything!
5.  The name you choose is tremendously important for your blog.  If you choose a name such as "ComputerRepair"  I can guarantee you it will be taken.  And if it's not,  no one except your friends will ever see your blog because the keywords "computer repair" is incredibly competitive.
6.  What you want to do is choose a name such as, in my case, like  "ComputerRepairOcalaFlorida".  Chances are good that it will be available.
7.  Title your blog the same thing...  "Computer Repair Ocala Florida"
8.  In "meta tags" (you'll find this in your blogger control panel or dashboard),  also put "computer repair Ocala Florida" as your first keyphrase.  Then add other relevant keywords or key phrases.  http://www.traffictravis.com  is a good free site to find relevant keywords or phrases.  By the way when you get around to writing text or posting on this blog incorporate your keywords and keyphrases in your text.  But don't overuse these.... make it look natural.  But don't worry about your text too much right now.
9.  Post a blog with a brief description of who you are with a link to your main website and contact information such as email and phone number.
10. Publish your Blog
11.  As you have time, set up a new blog using "computer repair plus each and every city and counties" in your working area.  In my case, for example, some would be computerrepairBelleviewFlorida.whatever,  computerrepairLadyLakeFlorida.whatever, and so on.
12. That's it to start

What will happen is you will be the big fish in a little pond, and someone will catch you.  And it will make you feel good when you search "computer repair Ocala Florida" and you are number one or at least making a showing on page 1.

Later on, you can develope text and pages on blogger to make your blog look like a paid website.

Anyhow... happy blogging... this is a start!

p.s.  put google "adsense" on your blog as soon as you can.  You have to sign up for an account.  Don't have time to go into this, so search....  "how do I get a Google Adsense Account".  You make a little money anytime someone clicks on one of those ads.  No you won't get rich, but every little bit helps these days.  I'm very close to getting my first check from Google.  Would have been making some money if I had Adsense on all my blogs and websites.  I have just recently started doing this.  Oh well, if you snooze, you lose!

JING

http://www.jing.com

This is a great little "free" tool that I discovered on http://www.affilorama.com.    It's pretty simple to use.  What it does is capture any text, image, or video (up to 5 minutes) from a webpage.  Many times you only want to save a small part of a webpage.  You can do this with Jing.  Then you can save it somewhere on your computer or upload it to http://www.screencast.com  (this is free also) where it can be viewed by others of your choosing.  I haven't had time to use screencast.com much yet, but it seems pretty cool also.  We all know how receiving large pictures via email can cause your email program to slow down or even freeze up.  So screencast may be a quick easy solution.

I put a new folder on my desktop called "JING".  This is where I temporarily put all my captures.  This makes it very easy to find, move, or delete ones I no longer need.

In case you don't know how to create a new folder on your desktop,  1. right click on empty space on your desk top  2.  click on "NEW".  3.  up at the top, click on "FOLDER"  4. and a new folder will appear on the desktop of your computer.  5.  name or re-name "Jing" or whatever.  When I capture something with Jing, I save it to desktop, then drag and drop it to my Jing folder if it's something I want to keep, or if it's something I want to keep permanently,  I'll save it in documents, my pictures, or my videos, etc.

Anyhow...happy Jinging!!!http://www.jing.com

Affilorama

Many have expressed having lack of knnowledge concerning computers, the internet, registrars, hosting, servers, website design, and especially building a website, internet marketing, and affiliate marketing.  I've wasted many hours in pursuit of such education.  I know a little bit, but enough to know that the following link...   http://www.affilorama.com/    is now my one stop website for information concerning the above.

You can start without even registering and learn alot.  Then you can sign-up and get hours of free education.
If you are scared,  get a new gmail address just for this.  It won't cost you a dime.  I'm talking hours of tutorials and many, many videos.  It will take you sometime to go thru all the freebees.  I learned a lot of valuable stuff just today concerning website design, affiliate marketing, and even a couple of cool things about email that I didn't know.  Of course there are offers on there that you "may" want to pay for, but you don't have to.  I haven't come across anything on Affilorama that was objectionable or offensive to me yet.  Believe me, I'll let you know if I do.

As of now, I do plan on signing up with one of their paid accounts once I've gone thru the free stuff.  There seems to a big bang for my buck with Affilorama.  At present time I have no affiliate marketing relationship with Affilorama, but I sure would like to in the future.  I am impressed.

I am writing this mainly to those who purchased the Xzacta Shears Ultimate Scissor System, http://www.xzactashears.com/ .  but this blog is public for anyone to read and post on.  I just ask that you keep it related to computers, internet marketing, website building please or I will delete your post.  If you are advanced, please try to keep it simple for us "non-nerds".... thanks
